Introduction

Sorry, I could not be more involved in the first class. I am only 12 hours shy of my graduate diploma in Educational Technology, so I try to squeeze as many classes in whenever I can, and this summer class in consulting was one, I did not want to miss. However, as you probably already know, summer short classes are really time consuming, and I thought it better that I spend time on it, instead of Webcasting. Now with more time, I can devote more of my energy to learning webcasting. Leeann is going to help me figure out why I can't control Skype anymore, so things are really looking up. I would also like to get into the Drupal sessions. I have a Drupal set up(ElderPal), and continue to play with it, but I still have much to learn. I also have my Joomla set up (ElderVille), and am willing to share information about it. I have actually used it a bit more, but am interested in learning both. My next app will be Docuwiki. I think it can be used as a fascinating portal page, and am very interested in seeing what can be done with it.

You already know my involvement in Webheads, and no as KnowWeeks Coordinator at Knowplace. I am also interested in an internet "Camp" type structure...perhaps a bit more open meeting than much of what is online now. I think a call in "Camp"-type meeting, maybe once a month or everyother month would be cool.

And now I have this offer from LeeAnn to tutor or mentor me in my efforts. We are already planning a collaborative music project that has some real potential.
