Why do you want to learn to webcast?: I started and ran our school closed circuit TV for 3 years and do the webpage and have some video and TV production experience as a volunteer in Wheaton, Il. I also have a graphic design certificate from Parson (New School) in NYC from the Flash 4.0 days. I am interested in how teachers are using the Promethean board in every day classroom settings (elementary).

Show Name: xtreme education
Show Details: Interactive News Show Format to collect best practices from a variety of educators. The show would be saved and podcasted for a regular audience.
Several teachers in my school could co-moderate with me to handle recording, skyping etc.
Each episode would be topic driven.
I would give the background on the topic and open the line for best practices on topic. Listeners could suggest show topics and supply background info, links and even special guests.
It would end with a message about joining webacademy, the show blog and the date for the next webcast. Now that I look back on this it seems a pretty standard approach. My goals now are evloving when they take shape I'll post them.
Webcasting Venue: I have listened to all of the worldbridges realted shows and love them all. I enjoy them most when I can be in the chat room but or participate in the talk.
