Lorna Costantini Mac Book Pro 2.2 Ghz intel Core 2Duo Mac OS 10.5.1

My experience as an intern has been technically gentle. I have a Mac Book Pro and the software and Mac operating system made the two way telephony call extremely easy. I have fusionVMware installed with Windows XP so I tried using the Windows software and set up. I quickly moved back to OS 10.5 on my Mac. I understand what the frustrations of the PC world is talking about. I highly recommend that if users want to regularly produce webcasts and make podcasts that they make the investment in an Apple computer. The setup for broadcasting included Logitech Head set, NIce Cast and Skype for Macs. When I first started as an intern, I found the documentation light for MAc users but as soon as I looked for support, the team at webcast academy started producing excellent support materials for me to follow. I also learned to navigate the drupal platform used by the academy as the content management source so that made finding answers easier. I still struggle with the the navigation. What I found as a completely new experience was using Skype for IM and voice calls and conference calls. Thanks to Lee Babar and Matt Montagne, I soon learned how to drop skype contacts and skypeout contacts into a conference call.
