Vance Stevens is teaching a 4th rendition of his annual Multiliteracies for Collaborative Learning Environments course as part of TESOL's Principles and Practices of Online Teaching Certificate Program: http://www.homestead.com/prosites-vstevens/files/efi/papers/tesol/ppot/portal2007.htm. As a part of this course he would like to hold a weekly Webcast entitled Talking Multiliteracies, each Sunday at 13:00 GMT for the four weeks of the course (Mark your calendars: Sept 16, 23, 30 and October 7). The webcast will convene in Skype and will be streamed over http://www.webcastacademy.net/listen, with accompanying text chat at http://www.webcastacademy.net/chat (and also at http://www.tappedin.org to coincide with the weekly meeting of Webheads, http://webheads.info, for those inveterate multitaskers amongst us). All interested parties are welcome to join the webcast either as participants in the Skype conversation or as listeners and text chatters, or any combination as fancy strikes (Skype vancestev if you wish to participate live). The conversation will be informal though an attempt will be made to keep it focused on what multiliteracies means and how the concept applies to current issues in education.
