Why do you want to learn to webcast?: I'm involved in a research project looking at multimedia casting(mcasting)in distance education (podcasts, video clips, screencasts), which is why I want to learn more about podcasting through the Webcast Academy. I also have my grade 7 technology students do a podcast project and I wanted to learn more about it to improve the project.

Show Name: The MCast Project
Show Details: I would like to establish a podcast that provides information and advice for teachers wanting to integrate the use of podcasts, videos, and screencasts into the courses they teach with a particular focus on high school. I'm thinking a format for the show could highlight examples of technology being used in education, interviews or discussions of projects and ideas for projects, advice on technology and software, and answer questions from teachers that need help with integrating technology. My focus would be on practice more than theory and helping teachers use mcasting in their curriculum and share examples of beneficial learning experiences.
Webcasting Venue: I would like to provide a webcast for the school district in which I work but that could be as part of the Worldbridges network.
