Why do you want to learn to webcast?: To improve my use of technology and get my students more involved in 21 century skills.

Show Name: Issues on the Middle school mind.
Show Details: I would like to do a show which gives middle school students a chance to discuss with adults about issues concerning them. Issues like, technology and how education is or isn't meeting the needs of the 21st century student in public schools. In addition I would like to expand their thinking about issues in government and economics and hopefully get some global participation to discuss how other nationalities and economic policies differ. At the same time I hope to achieve some cultural awareness for students concerning other global cultures.
Webcasting Venue: I have not made up my mind about where I would like to webcast. Primarily on my blog but I would like to explore opportunities like Worldbridges. Currently I use Gcast.

Introduction: I am a middle school computer instructor from Missouri in the USA. I teach government, economics, keyboarding, spreadsheets, Microsoft database, Word processing, and blogs. I want to expand my knowledge to include podcast/webcast and videocast for use in my classroom. I have been teaching and working on computers for 11 years. This year I finished my MIS online. Always looking to improve, learn more and make my classes more interesting for my students.
