Webcast Intern Info

Why do you want to learn to webcast?

I view webcasting as another opportunity to further expand my personal learning network by connecting with others and sharing and learning with them. I believe that we need to continue to develop avenues which reach out to others within the education community and particularly to those beyond the immediate education community. We have much to learn from each other's perspectives. Although, I feel this is the next step I want to take in my own edtech growth, I must say that there is a little voice in the back of my head saying I must be crazy- so be it!

Show Details

OK, so I think the title needs work, but the show details definitely need more thought. The show is very undefined as yet in my mind. I vary between something that would be very local- developing a webcast for the local community/district to engage educators, parents, students, board members, residents, business in discussing educational issues and topics to something that would be much broader in its audience. I would like to talk about big ideas- 21st century education/skills-creativity, collaboration, global interactions and connections- but also would like to showcase examples of great things that are currently happening to show how the world we live in is transforming right before our eyes- yet it is hard to 'see' it.

Webcasting Venue

Webcasting on the Worldbridges network would be grand. I would need to know much more before I understood how I might even try to webcast independently.
