Webcast Intern Info

Why do you want to learn to webcast?

I'm particularly interested in online audio, both as a means for sharing information and as a teaching/learning tool and think learning to webcast would be very useful for both of these purposes. I first became interested in the Webcast Academy about a year ago, but my time commitments were stretched too thin to become an intern then. Also, even though I've been a Mac user since the late 1980s, I want to learn to webcast via both a Mac and a PC (and have PCs as well as Macs at home).

Introduction

Hi, folks. I've been involved in TESL for more than 30 years as a teacher and materials developer and have been active online since the mid 1990s. Much of what I've done has been text-based, but over the past five years or so, I've become more and more interested in online audio—particularly with a focus on natural conversation.
