SusNy, DK Dear friends, I am afraid I'll have to follow Bengt's example and leave this Academy class for now. First of all I need to make both ends meet in my private as well as my professional life. Then, I also regret not having the necessary technical skills for doing this - at least not without a huge lot of hard work which is not realistic for the time being. Second Life in education is something that I would want to explore in a more back leaned mode in my free time (when I'm not doing courses, exam work or writing on my own final). Anyway, who knows if there will be found easier and more handy solutions for webcasting in a near future, that even a not so techie like myself could handle.

This page is using Drupal for the content management. One thing that I'm struggling with here in Drupal is whether I should post in my own blog, or start a New Forum Thread. Tagging could help make new constellations of postings. I found the tag cloud (in left menu), which helped me locate some topics, sorted in new blends. Could we develop a list of instantly suggested tags(such as when I tag in delicious) - A certain consistency in our shared tagging would ease the growing of fatter tags in the cloud. See what I mean? I'm sure I've not yet revealed and understood all necessary details about how to use Drupal - but it has a neat overview structure and I find it quite easy to create new content. However,I discovered that I am not allowed to create a nrew Forum, so I decided I would post it just here in my blog.

Oh dear. I made my recording in Audacity while we had our webcast session, strongly encouraged by Jeff. I managed to clean out some stuttering and uhms. Then I struggled for quite a while to locate the lame file, which has to be done from inside Audacity when you wish to convert from the .aup format to mp3. I knew this would be tricky as I've had this silly problem before. People have tried patiently to walk me through this, but with no succes - until now! I don't know why it was not unzipped properly in the Aucatity program folder as I wanted it to, and my Search skills are poor with the Windows PC for some reason (being a mac user by origin) At last I thought of opening the EasyZip folder - and there inside ! yes yes yes! I found the much desired Lame folder! No problem :-)
