Sonja Gonzalez Introduction
Get this party started!
Finally feeling like I "get" what I'm supposed to do with this! A lot of that has to do with the first class (but missed the second... have to go back and listen to that!) and reading around on the website. This is a great community! Really liking that I can listen to other people's projects/ideas/intros and that we'll continue to work together. Great collaborative environment that I hope to try to re-create in part at my school.

- Introduction
I am the IT person of a small school. I like to mountain bike and do outdoorsy/athletic stuff. I like playing Sudoku and Spider Solitaire while watching House and Dexter (my latest series addictions!) I'm trying to expand my creative side taking painting lessons and, well, hopefully doing this Web Academy thingy! Have dreams of going to another country to help schools out with technology, I'm thinking something like help schools integrate OLPC laptops into their curriculum and/or get other technologies up and running. I'm open to any platform... Mac, Win, and Linux all have their good sides. Love to get tech toys and see what you can do with them!
