- Introduction
I am a teacher of English and have been blogging for two and a half years. The classes I teach range from Year 7 through to year 12. I have listened to lots of the audio coming out of Edtech Talk and have enjoyed participating in skype sessions. I like to develop and maintain skills (in myself and others) of creativity in problem solving.

- Why do you want to learn to webcast?
The "live interactive" part of webcasting appeals to me. I often think of learning as conversation and webcasting is a way to involve more people in the learning and conversation. I think it would be great to have an EdTech talk type regular webcast with a southern hemisphere perspective (there may be others from Australia already) and I would like to help bring this about.

Hopefully in partnership with someone else we could interview educators from round Australia and New Zealand, looking at the future of learning in our region, responding to events and looking at what's been in the news. I would also like to promote new bloggers and review local podcasts.
