High school art teacher in Maine. Working in a 1:1 school, 9-12, with 380 kids or so, rural environment, teaching photo, digital imaging, media literacy, ceramics. Very interested in technology integration across the curriculum, particularly multi-media aspects and fostering better design for everyone.

This stuff is just so cool! Seriously, though, I think it has great applications in professional development, online course delivery and other educational purposes. I'm inspired by WOW 2.0 and the Seedlings. :)

I'd love to focus on the necessity of good design, audio & visual, to facilitate clear, engaging communication when it comes to digital content. The idea of the art studio as a model for educational practice is another aspect, thinking about creativity in the arts and how that translates creative thinking across the board . . something along those lines?

Here would be great. I'm amazed at the resources already here - would love to join the ranks. I would hope I could also webcast for online university courses at some point, but there isn't anything specifically in the works for that yet.
