Audio Recording and Editing ~

-00-00

We will discuss audio recording and editing. If you have any questions about audio, Nicecast, settings, mics, editing, Audacity, Garage Band, or just want someone to test your set-up, please drop in at 3:00pm EST, on Thursday (8:00pm GMT).

I will post the show later for those who can not attend. Just be sure to get me your questions or concerns before the show and I will cover it for you. In addition, I will create any video screenshot tutorials that may help you and post them in an obvious place for experimenting later. Send email to lee@personallearningspace.com to contact me or comment to this post.

See the links below for a video tutorial and audio guide I have created. See you then. ~Lee Ann Baber

Lee's Intro

Welcome to all the 1.2 interns. The neighborhood is getting very exciting and I am anxious to get to know everyone better. I have really enjoyed the introductions from everyone! I have recorded my intro and it is admittedly sappy ...no way around it...but I love messing around with enhancing and editing audio. (This recording is also set up as an enhanced podcast.)

I didn't mention that my previous careers were playing with a musical touring group, audio engineer, and trainer for a USET World Champion Endurance Racer (not all at the same time!) In the academy, I have done the webcast called SpaceCast (8th grade elgg students, their teachers and guests) and been involved with Teachers Teaching Teachers. It's nice to meet all of you and to learn more about the other 1.1 interns.
