The Journey Begins
Hi Dennis,
You had a really good recording. It's good to hear a calm voice in this sometimes hectic world. I would change file name from "Audio Intro" to Dennis-Oliver-Intro-2007-10-19 Your Sample rate is set at 22kHz which is friendly to flash player. Setting it to 44kHz will give better quality to music. Otherwise your set for Week two. I hope suggestions help.

Good suggestions!
Hi, José.
Thanks for the kind words: I appreciate them. Thanks even more for the good suggestions. Tomorrow (2007-10-20), I'll revise the file name and see if I can change the sample rate. I tried to follow all the specs that were mentioned, and I'm not sure how I missed the sample rate setting, but a closer look at the file in Audacity should enable me to change it in the revised version (to be posted tomorrow, probably).
Thanks again!

44 kHz Sample Rate
Hi again, José.
I downloaded the .mp3 file from here and did a revised version with a 44kHz sample rate, but it didn't play properly on my Mac: everything was speeded up, with the result that the pitch was too high and the speed was too fast. Because of that, I didn't make a revised version. At this point, I'm kind of stymied about how to correct the sample rate.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have.

44 kHz Sample Rate: Update
Hi again again, José.
Either late Saturday or Sunday morning before the online meeting, I played around with Audacity some more. I had no problems changing the sample rate, and it didn't sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks (I wonder who will understand that reference?). The problem might have been caused by having two copies of Audacity, but I've also taken care of that issue.
Thanks again, José.
