Hi Liz,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. You should now be able to post upcoming events by clicking 'create/event'. http://www.webcastacademy.net/node/add/event In the past we've used Google Calendar, but I think we'll give the event module another try.
The Academy calendar uses GMT, so please post events accordingly. Always a good idea to use the Timeanddate.com fixed time world clock at: http://timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedform.html and include a link to that.
