Making screencast and converting to mp4.

I just recently have been experimenting with Camstudio but the videoformat is too large so i have been looking for a good converting software... I found Mediacoder which seem to cover several mediaformats and among them mp4. For you who want to make screencast maybe those software can come in handy...

About me missing out and my personal situation

I have already have learned alot and have met several new friends in this nice community that World Bridges and Webcast Acacdemy is. I though must sadly slow down this. I have recently lost 25% of my income and really need to find a way to somehow get it back... I probably have to start a company or something. Even though i have much knowledge about alot of things i have trouble getting someone to employ me... At the moment i started an online magazine about Photo for beginners hoping to get medias attention and maybe through that get some work... Since many of you work in schools it might be of intrest i used Wordpress open source blogging tool to create it. You can use wordpress for your school magazine too...

Agenda 12/11 and a diagram using VAC

Jeff gave me the mission to create an Agenda for Sunday 12/11. I did so and have attached a picture of it.
  • Introduction/Opening
  • Share Good / Bad Experience using Audacity
  • How do VAC really work? (Diagram of VAC)
  • Brainstorm how to use Webcast - Bring at least one good idea.
  • Share experience with trying streaming
  • Questions and word is free

Using Wikispace to hold mindmaps and learningprocess at one place

I was thinking that we could make a Wiki where we share our knowledge and gather our learningprocess at one place. I call it Webcastclass. I made my own page with a mind map and some thoughts. Since there is a RSS you can follow the process as other put their pages up... Then everyone can use their own favorite-program to make their mindmap...

Using Compendium from Open Learn to visualize...

Since when we had our webcast i run into Open Learn from Open University...

And their tool Compendium is an easy way to do Mindmaps. They also save in XML and it is programmed in Java so it is not plattformdependent..

http://openlearn.open.ac.uk/

and their Labspace
http://labspace.open.ac.uk/
Screencast for Compendium
http://compendium.open.ac.uk/openlearn/screencasts/index.html

With Compendium we could give our image of the process...

Maybe if everyone do a mindmap so they themself get their clearview of the process. And everyone presenting their mindmap would give everyones view of the process...
